How we put this list together

We started from the Spain listing of the Shopify Partner Directory as of 7 November 2026 and kept the partners whose profile gives Madrid or a town in its area, such as Collado Villalba, Leganés, Móstoles, Tres Cantos or Alcobendas. That makes 40. Of those, 17 had at least one review, and together they added up to 560.

Weblineo writes this article and appears first. The rest are ordered by number of reviews on the directory, which is public data and hard to inflate, because only a store that has worked with the partner can leave one. We left out profiles of individuals and those with no website.

Other Shopify partners in Madrid

These partners in Madrid and its area had no reviews on the directory on 7 November 2026, or very few. That is not a bad sign on its own: many large consultancies win clients through other channels and have never asked for reviews on Shopify. What makes the Madrid market different

In Madrid, three very different profiles share the Shopify agency label. Some agencies work only with Shopify and make their living building and improving stores. Some are marketing agencies that build stores as part of an acquisition service. And some are large technology consultancies with Shopify as one more practice, alongside other ecommerce platforms or ERPs.

None is better in the abstract. If you want a well-built store your team can run, a specialist agency fits better. If your priority is advertising and you already have a store, a marketing agency may serve you. If the project is a complex integration with corporate systems, a large consultancy can make sense. What you want to avoid is hiring one of them for what another one does.

Does your agency need to be in Madrid?

Less than you might think. Almost all the work on a Shopify store happens remotely: briefing, design, reviews and training work well over a video call with screen sharing. An in-person meeting at the start helps you get to know each other, but it does not change the quality of the code.

What does matter is that the agency works in your language and time zone and knows the Spanish market: payment methods such as Bizum, local carriers, VAT and invoicing, or the tone your customers expect. How to choose a Shopify agency in Madrid, even if it isn't us

Make a shortlist of two or three agencies with a similar profile and ask each of them for a proposal based on the same brief. That way you compare price and scope on the same basis. Then check these points.

• Its reviews can be checked outside its own website
• Scope, price and dates are put in writing
• The store and the code sit in your Shopify account from the start
• You know who runs your project and who writes the code
• Training is included and it explains what happens after launch

Reviews are leaving the directory

On 9 November 2026 Shopify removes reviews, ratings and algorithmic ranking for every partner, and the listing becomes alphabetical. That is why every figure in this article is as of 7 November 2026.
