Are customer passwords lost?
Shopify doesn't allow importing passwords, for security reasons. Customers are migrated with their orders and, with Shopify's current customer accounts, they sign in with their email and a one-time code, no password needed.
How long will the store be unable to sell?
Practically no time. We set up Shopify in parallel and switch the domain at the lowest-traffic moment.
Are the URLs kept?
Shopify uses its own URL structure, so each old address is 301 redirected to the new one to keep your rankings.
What about product reviews?
They can be brought into the review app you choose on Shopify, as long as your current platform lets you export them.
How much does it cost to migrate to Shopify?
It depends on data volume, design and integrations. We send you a fixed price after the video call. If the data migration requires an external tool priced by volume, we tell you before we start.
Can I migrate and redesign at the same time?
Yes, and it's usually the most efficient approach: the structure, data and SEO work is done only once.
What happens to my domain and email?
The domain is connected to Shopify and remains yours. Your email doesn't change if it's with another provider; we review the DNS records so it isn't interrupted.
Will I lose rankings on Google?
The risk lies in unredirected URLs and content that disappears. We redirect every old URL with a 301, keep titles and descriptions and monitor indexing in Search Console after the switch.
Are past orders migrated?
Yes, order history can be brought over linked to each customer, so you keep it in Shopify.
What happens to my WooCommerce plugins or PrestaShop modules?
We review each one: many are replaced by native Shopify features, others by a reliable app and some by our own code in the theme.
Can I keep running my old store in the meantime?
Yes. Your current store keeps selling until switch day, which happens at the lowest-traffic moment.
