Shopify store optimization (CRO)

We review your current Shopify store piece by piece and tell you what's costing you sales, ranked by impact. Then we fix it with you or hand you the plan so your team can do it.

This is for you if…

  • You have traffic but conversion won't move
  • The store is slow on mobile
  • You've kept adding apps and no longer know what each one does

What we review

The entire buying journey, on mobile and desktop.

  • Home page and navigation
  • Collections, search and filters
  • Product page
  • Cart and checkout
  • Installed apps and third-party scripts

Speed and Core Web Vitals

We measure LCP, INP and CLS with real data from your visitors and remove what weighs the most: unused apps, oversized images and render-blocking code.

How we measure

We start from your current funnel: conversion rate, average order value and drop-off at each step. With enough traffic, we validate changes with A/B tests.

One-off or ongoing

An audit with its action plan, or month-by-month optimization where we keep testing, measuring and keeping what works.

How we optimize your Shopify store

  1. Baseline data

Conversion rate, average order value, drop-off per step and real Core Web Vitals from your visitors.

  2. Full audit

We go through the store on mobile and desktop, from home page to checkout, and review apps and scripts.

  3. Prioritized plan

A list of changes ranked by impact and effort, with the reasoning behind each one.

  4. Implementation

We apply the changes with you or leave the plan ready for your team.

  5. Measurement

We compare before and after and, with enough traffic, validate with A/B tests.

A guide to Shopify optimization and CRO

Where a Shopify store usually loses sales and how to prioritize what to improve.

What CRO means for a Shopify store

CRO (conversion rate optimization) means getting more visitors to buy without paying for more traffic. On a Shopify store, the work focuses mainly on the product page, cart, checkout, search and speed.

It's about finding in your data where people drop off and why, and fixing it in order of impact, rather than copying tricks.

Where the most sales are lost

On the product page, from missing information: not enough photos, confusing variants, delivery times and shipping costs that aren't visible or unclear returns. In the cart, from surprises in the final cost. At checkout, from long forms or missing payment methods.

Search and filters matter too: if customers can't find the product, they don't buy it. With Shopify's Search & Discovery app you can fine-tune filters, synonyms and results.

  • An incomplete product page
  • Costs that appear at the end
  • A checkout without the payment methods your customers use
  • Search and filters that don't help

Speed and Core Web Vitals

Google measures loading experience with three metrics: LCP (how long the main content takes to appear), INP (how long the page takes to respond) and CLS (how much the content shifts while loading). They affect SEO and, above all, mobile conversion.

On Shopify, what hurts them most is usually JavaScript from installed apps, images larger than needed and sections that load content no one sees. We measure with real data from your visitors and remove what weighs the most first.

One-off audit or ongoing optimization

An audit gives you a complete picture and a prioritized plan: you can apply it with us or with your team. Ongoing optimization runs month by month: we test, measure and keep what works.

If the problem lies in the store's foundation, we'll tell you: sometimes what you need is a redesign, not more patches.

Frequently asked questions

What clients ask us most about optimization and CRO.

How long until I see results?

Speed and bug fixes show up as soon as they go live. Conversion improvements need a few weeks of measurement to know whether they work.

Do I need a lot of traffic?

Not for an audit. Reliable A/B tests do need a minimum volume; if you don't have it, we prioritize the changes with the strongest evidence.

What's the difference between an audit and a redesign?

An audit improves what you have. If the problem is the store's foundation, what you need is a redesign.

What does the audit include?

A full walkthrough of the store on mobile and desktop, a review of apps and speed, an analysis of your funnel and a plan of changes ranked by impact.

Do I need to give you access to my store?

Yes, collaborator access to Shopify and, if you have it, read access to your analytics. Shopify lets you grant access with limited permissions.

Do you optimize SEO too?

We review the store's technical SEO: titles, structure, speed, structured data and indexing errors.

Can you guarantee I will sell more?

Nobody can honestly guarantee a result like that. What we do is prioritize the changes with the strongest evidence, apply them and measure their effect with your data.

Do you need to change my theme?

Not necessarily. Most improvements are applied to your current theme. If the foundation has reached its limit, we'll tell you and explain why.

Which apps can be removed?

We review every installed app: what it does, how much it weighs on loading and whether it's used. Those that add nothing are removed and some are replaced with our own code.

What data do you need?

Shopify reports and, if you have it, your web analytics. With that we see the funnel, drop-off per step and your visitors' real speed.
