Shopify agencies in Barcelona: a comparison using data from the official directory

How we built the list

We took the Spain listing of the Shopify Partner Directory as of 7 November 2026 and kept the partners whose profile is in Barcelona or another town in the province, such as Sabadell, Terrassa, L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, Igualada or Vic. There are 27. Of those, 16 had reviews, and together they added up to 222.

We are Weblineo, we wrote this article and we put ourselves first. Our profile is in Madrid, but we work remotely with brands all over Spain, Catalonia included. The rest of the list is ordered by number of reviews on the directory, a public figure anyone could check on each profile.

We excluded profiles of individuals and those that do not link to a website. What we say about each agency comes from its profile and its own website, without adding clients or figures we cannot verify.

What kind of agency are you looking for?

Design and brand studios carry a lot of weight in Barcelona. If your priority is image, the ones that combine branding and store work fit well, such as la minúscula or Arktic Studio. If you already have a store and want it to convert better, optimization and CRO profiles make more sense, such as UNTWIST or Empact. If the challenge is technical (integrations, B2B, Shopify Plus), look for a development team with proven experience in exactly that.

By tier, the province had 11 Plus Partners, 14 Select Partners and the only Platinum Partner in Spain, Rocket Digital. No Premier Partner had a Barcelona profile.

A practical tip: many agencies do a bit of everything and say so on their website. Ask what share of their revenue comes from Shopify projects and how many people on the team write Liquid. The answer will tell you more than the list of services.

Stores in Catalan, Spanish and English

Many Barcelona brands sell in Catalan and Spanish, and often in English or French too. Shopify lets you publish a store in several languages with their own URLs, but the real work is in the details: translating product pages, collections, emails, legal notices and theme copy, and deciding which language each visitor sees.

If that is your case, ask the agency to show you a multilingual store it has built, and check that each language has its own URL, that emails go out in the customer's language and that SEO is planned per language. Our guide to multilingual Shopify stores goes into more detail.

How to choose a Shopify agency in Barcelona, even if it isn't us

Pick two or three candidates with the same profile and send them all the same brief. Compare the proposals with these questions.

• Which stores have you built in my industry, and can I see them on mobile?
• Where can I check your reviews outside your own website?
• Will the theme be custom or an adapted template?
• Will the store and the code be in my Shopify account?
• What is left out of the quote?
• What training and support do you include after launch?

An important change in the directory

On 9 November 2026 Shopify removes reviews, ratings and algorithmic ranking for every partner, and the listing becomes alphabetical. Every figure in this article is as of 7 November 2026.
